
Mom's Banana Bread

Materials
- ⅓ cup butter softened unsalted
- 1 cup sugar white, granulated
- 2 bananas ripened and crushed
- 1 ½ all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs large, beaten
- 1 TSP baking soda
- 1 TSP salt
- 1 TSP vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add beaten eggs and crushed bananas
- Add vanilla
- Sift together flour, baking soda and salt
- Add dry mix to wet, careful not to over stir
- Add to greased and floured bread pan
- Bake for 55 minutes at 350/180
- Cool for 20 minute on a rack in pan
- Gently run a butter knife around the edges
- Cover bread with wax or parchment
- Quickly flip pan upside down with hand over paper and bread
- Gently tap the bottom of the pan and the bread should slide out
- Place another piece of wax or parchment on the bottom of the bread and flip over on to a cutting board or platter
